Interesting case. Of confrontation between atheist parents and school board members.
Atheist face discrimination because large population of people are religious deluded.
There is no god. So don't tell children that there is one, this should be a given.
There is no Santa, so don't lie to children about this in school. Also a given.
There is no heaven or no hell. Unless they could provide real evidence, mentioning of either is a form of child abuse.
There is no scared text. Christian bible or any other religious text is just literature. It is fine to find the Christian bible poorly written, too violence, boring or just plain full of shit. So reading religious text also opened this up for criticism and one star review.
Religion is a thing. There is no need to respect it. The only respect requires is respect a person right to choose one, or not choose one. Christianity is on equal ground as Satanism, not better or worst. Just different.
And the schools board is trying to not respect atheist parents POV and try to force this on their child. It is a form of discrimination. Glad the atheists won.
