The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime is good story with autistic boy as main character

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon

Good short read.

The book lead you to see the world through the eyes of an autistic boy Christopher. It is not about his difficulty, rather, it is about how he see things around him.

A neighbor's dog was killed and Christopher decided to investigate. He wrote everything done in his notebooks.

Through his investigation, he discovered that he has been lied to by his father. And he found his long lost mother, the one that he was told to be dead.

The story is good. And the Mark Haddon has made it so real that you could actually hear the boy thoughts, with maths and patterns.

The story is now turned into a theater production. http://youtu.be/O704ld5WQnk

A 5 stars book.
