Reading progress update: I've read 100 out of 272 pages.
The story is about a boy Carter who was a street magician with a bad uncle. He run away and met with new friends who are also into magic.
What so good about this one is that Neil Patrick Harris has added beginner level of magic tricks into the story.
Also it is a very diverse in characters, including adoptive child, same sex couple as parents and teen in wheelchair. The focus is not on their diversity but as a diverse background to the story.
Like that treatment a lot.
