Geralt is hurt and trying to Ciri
Not so much of a story of Geralt as he is just running around, not yet recovering from his injury.
Ciri suffered alone when she went into the portal that go into the middle of a desert. Poor Ciri turned away from her path of being a Witcher and joined a group of thugs.
Geralt has colorful company and they were all drawn to Geralt and his quest to find his child of surprise.
Not as interesting. The side characters brought more to the story instead.
