Paul Krugman talks about US economy and politics

The Conscience of a Liberal: Reclaiming America from the Right - Paul R. Krugman

A must read for those who want to understand how the economy policies in the US being shaped by the political parties power.

The Republicans screwed things over because they don't like the policy that shorten the gap between the rich and the poor. The CEO get rich because of some fucking stupid reason. And Nixon was not the bad guy when it comes to policy, Newt Gingrich and Ronald Reagan are the real bad guys.

Gingrich screwed things over by limiting the budget for the operation of the government because he wanted to privatize Medicare. Fuck him.

The 1% got rich because of the unfair system advocate by the Republicans policies.

Learned a whole lot about American history and politics. And know how the average Americans are too fucking stupid to be fooled by the Republicans because they are also fuck in the head by fucking shit religion. Fuck Christianity for screwing up so fucking much.

Not yet finish. Already liking it a lot.

The part on Medicare and overall health care reform is so good and so valid. It explained Clinton's failure, and probably give us an idea on Obama initiative. It also exposed how the Bush administration and conservative Republicans screwed things up for everyone in the US.

If you are really pressing for time, or just don't like reading this. Skip to the last chapter and it is the quick summary on how the Liberals are actually conservatives who want a good social system and rule of laws, and the Republicans conservatives are actually radical who like to destroy the existing system. Good one.
