Myron act as a good guy detective

Promise Me - Harlan Coben

This is way better than I thought it would be.

The main character Myron is a good guy and a normal responsible person that it very easy to relate to. Also the twist of the plot is really good, as the clues are placed like breadcrumbs along the way.

Not to spoil the plot too much. The perspective is from the main characters point of view. There are guns and side kick, that I like a lot. And the reference to Batman only add to my liking of this book. Who wouldn't want a nosy neighbor turned out to be Batman. (Anyone? I guess not.)I going to be read more of this writer as his work is entertaining. Not big movie kind of entertaining, it could be as nearly as good as Castle but fall short of Mentalist.
