The Nurture Assumption

The Nurture Assumption: Why Children Turn Out the Way They Do, Revised and Updated - Judith Rich Harris

Recommended book again by Steven Pinker as he quote that the 50% of behavioral trends human get from their peers mostly, not parental influence.

Good one. Another to read pile book that we know about why human turned out the way they do.

Another interesting point is that this book is attacked by the "parental influence" crowd as it deal parental has very little influence on the child as long as there is no extreme abuse.
