August Book a Day #15: Best Long Read(s)

The Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined - Steven Pinker Les Misérables - Victor Hugo The Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas, Robin Buss Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré The Defence of the Realm: The Authorized History of MI5 - Christopher Andrew Infinite Jest - David Foster Wallace

These are really long books and I like all of them.

I included Harry Potter series Order of Phoenix as it is a really long thick YA book.

I really like Steven Pinker book but it is really long and it took a long time for me to finish this one.

Some other one I like but didn't include here, as I have not finished them yet.

The latest add is Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. How could I forget that brick of a book that I carry around until I finished it. Which is good. A bit unexpected but good.
