August Book a Day #26: Book Worth the Trouble

The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined - Steven Pinker

Interesting books. Steven Pinker is one of my favorite writers.

His books are not easy to read. There are a lot of concepts and evidence that you have to read it step by step. Learn while you are reading.

But they are worth your time, as you would learn a lot, and clarify a lot of your concepts.

A lot of concepts in the world is just wrong or over simplified. So I'm thankful for Steven to take the time to put down the information in a way that you could just read it and get the points instead of a lot of prerequisite books that you have to read before reading this one.
