September Book a Day #17: Favorite Literary Detective

The Eyre Affair - Jasper Fforde Lost in a Good Book - Jasper Fforde The Well of Lost Plots - Jasper Fforde The Complete Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle

Favorite literary detectives, Thursday Next and Sherlock Holmes.

It is hard to beat this two characters that give us so much joy and fun in reading their stories.

Thursday run around in the book world keeping the familiar literary characters alive and having a life besides the one that original writer gave them. I guess that is the attraction of fan fiction, that I don't usually read or take an interest in.
